This award-winning software that is funded by the European Union, is one of the best for removing security threats, and blocking harmful websites from being accessed from all major browsers. This does a hell of a job detecting tracking cookies and trojans. It is a must have!

MalwareBytes Anti-Malware
Have you ever started up your computer, and a mysterious program says that you have been infected with some virus? Well... if you never want problems like that again, install MalwareBytes or 'Mbam'! This is a free program (like everything else on this page), that works perfectly in unison with the previous two programs I have listed here.

Ccleaner is by far, one of the most useful programs available on the Windows platform! It helps you clean unnecissary files that are hidden to the average user. This will certainly speed up your machine when used properly. Ccleaner includes a feature to find issues in the registry and fixes them automatically! This program is a must-have if you would like to clean up your computer's temporary files.

LibreOffice
This program is a full Microsoft Office replacement suite! There are many things I like about this program, and in fact, I prefer using this open-source and FREE program over Micro$oft Office. I highly recommend this program suite!

GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program)
If you are in the market for Adobe Photoshop, but can't see the benefit to paying for such a program, then do I have good news for you! GIMP is a free, open-source alternative to Photoshop. It has the same functionality with only a small learning curve. There are plenty of tutorials to help you learn the interface on youtube. I use this program for every single image that you see on this website! :)
